How I Turn One Closed-Won Deal Into 10 New Opportunities With AI + Clay
The repeatable Clay workflow that auto-builds sales dossiers and drops them straight into Slack, ready for your sales reps.
As someone who has done his fair share of ABM (leading ABM at two ABM companies – Engagio and Demandbase), I know the power of a personalized and relevant outreach.
But the challenge is that account and person-level research takes time.
That’s where Clay comes in. This week. I’m sharing a the template for my Clay Workbook that makes research for your reps 10x easier.

Workflow Walkthrough: Closed-Won to Dossier with AI + Clay
This week’s episode is a solo one, and I’m showing you a Clay workbook I’ve been building behind the scenes that turns every new closed-won deal into a pipeline of sales-ready opportunities. Instead of sending reps into cold outreach with nothing but a LinkedIn profile, this system delivers full dossiers automatically.
Here’s what you’ll see step by step:
How to set up Clay to find lookalike accounts and enrich contacts.
The AI-powered research fields I use to surface competitors, news, funding, and case studies.
Why breaking outreach into AI micro-tasks works better than “write it all for me” prompts.
How the system generates dossiers in Google Docs and syncs them straight into Slack.
Ways to extend the workflow into your CRM and outreach platforms.
Here’s the Clay Workbook Template you can copy into your own Clay instance.
Prompt of the Week: Visual Style Guide Creator
I’ve been in enough landing page reviews to know how quickly “design feedback” turns into a free-for-all. Everyone has an opinion on colors, fonts, and button shapes. The result is an inconsistent pages that don’t feel like they belong to the same brand.
Here’s a prompt when from Kipp Bodnar and Kieran Flanagan (hosts of the podcast Marketing Against the Grain). It gives you a full visual style guide for your brand’s landing pages, built around SaaS conversion best practices.
Please create a comprehensive visual style guide for [BRAND NAME]'s landing pages, based on best practices for B2B SaaS conversion. The guide should include:
Color palette with primary, secondary, and accent colors (with specific hex codes)
Typography recommendations for headings, subheadings, and body text
Button styles and hover states
Whitespace and spacing principles
Image and icon guidance
Mobile optimization principles
Layout and grid system
The visual style should convey [DESIRED BRAND ATTRIBUTES] while optimizing for conversion. Please provide specific guidance that could be implemented by a designer or in a no-code tool.
The style should prioritize:
Clean, minimalist design that focuses attention on key messages
Strong visual hierarchy that guides the user through the page
Ample whitespace to improve readability
Strategic use of color to highlight CTAs
Mobile-first approach to ensure responsive design
Consistent visual language throughout the page

The Ultimate ChatGPT Prompt Library for Marketing Leaders
I remember the first time I used ChatGPT for marketing. It was late, I was up against a deadline, and I needed a competitive analysis that would have taken me and my PMM a full day (or more) to pull …

Tool of the Week: Voice-to-Action Productivity
Here’s another tools I’ve been obsessed with: Superswhisper. It’s been a super productivity booster. It transcribes your voice in real time and turns it into precise, structured text you can drop straight into docs, emails, or workflows. you speak and it formats everything cleanly. It’s been a huge time saver for me across content drafts, meeting notes, and even prompts.

AI Resource Roundup
Google’s Nano-Banana for Image Editing: Google quietly released a new model inside Gemini called “nano-banana.” It’s less about raw image generation and more about fast, intuitive edits—think Photoshop for non-designers. Case studies range from restoring old photos to testing hairstyles and even mocking up 3D models for architects.
AI as Your Chief of Staff: Kieran Flanagan breaks down how executives are using AI to 10x productivity before lunch. From eliminating blockers and streamlining updates to sharpening critical thinking, the takeaway is to treat AI less like a copywriter and more like a strategic partner.
56 LinkedIn Creators to Follow: Anisha Jain pulled together a curated list of voices across AI, content, design, and social selling. Following the right people is like building your own advisory board, and this list is a fast track to sharpening your feed.

Ok, that’s it for this week. Now, I’m off to trying to catch up on work! That’s the tough part about holidays – you have to cram 5 days of work into a shortened 4 day work-week.
And with Labor Day in the US, that means the summer is over (unfortunately). But it does mean it’s PSL season (thank god the original recipe is back).
